Produced by farms associated with AFAORCA (Asociación de Productores de Caraigres), this coffee comes from the Los Santos subregion in Tarrazú, Costa Rica, an area known for its high elevation and consistent quality. Grown at approximately 1,550 meters above sea level, the coffee is selectively harvested at peak ripeness and processed using the washed method, followed by sun drying. The lot is composed primarily of Caturra and Catuai varieties. AFAORCA, founded in 1996, is an association rooted in generations of coffee-growing families. It brings together farms such as La Vajusa, Los Cipres, and Lum, among many others—producers committed to quality-driven coffee and the continued development of the local coffee sector. Operating under the name Eco Caraigres, AFAORCA provides technical support in production and quality control, helping ensure consistency across its members.
