Based in the highlands of Chiapas, Grupo de Agricultores Positivos S.P.R. de R.L. (GRAPOS) is a cooperative founded in 2007 that today brings together more than 2,700 smallholder coffee producers across the municipalities of El Porvenir and Llano Grande. Built around community collaboration and sustainable agriculture, the organization has grown steadily over the years while maintaining a strong connection to the local coffee-growing communities of the region. GRAPOS works closely with its members through technical assistance programs, educational initiatives, and farm support projects, including the distribution of coffee seedlings to help renovate and strengthen production. The cooperative also places strong emphasis on organic cultivation and responsible farming practices, holding international organic certifications that support access to specialty and certified coffee markets. This organic SHG EP coffee is produced in southern Mexico near the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, where fertile soils, tropical climate, and elevated terrain create favorable conditions for high-quality coffee production. Cultivated at elevations ranging from approximately 700 to 1,600 meters above sea level and typically composed of Bourbon, Typica, and Marsellesa varieties, coffees from this region are known for their pleasant and approachable cup profile, reflecting the balanced and classic character typically associated with Chiapas coffees.
