CV. AKA Mandiri Coffee is a green coffee supplier based in Medan, North Sumatra, established in 2021 and formally structured under its current entity in September 2024. The company has been active in export markets for approximately two years and aims to position itself as a reliable partner for both local and international buyers. The company sources coffee directly from farmers across key Indonesian regions, including Mandheling, Gayo, and West Java. It maintains close relationships with producers through regular plantation visits and works with cooperatives to gather detailed farmer data. This approach allows for traceability at the lot level, including information on origin and harvest timing. All processing is carried out in the company’s own warehouse, using semi-washed (wet-hulled) and dry methods. Incoming coffee is weighed, quality-checked, and evaluated through cupping sessions before undergoing grading and sorting. The sorting process includes both mechanical methods and manual handpicking. The company also follows structured storage practices, keeping raw and processed beans separate prior to container loading for export. CV. AKA Mandiri Coffee is currently in the process of obtaining organic certification. In addition to its commercial activities, the company engages in community support initiatives, providing assistance, donations, and food supplies to farmers. Notably, it supported producers in the Takengon and Bener Meriah regions following floods and landslides in November 2025.
