Wallenford Coffee Company is one of Jamaica’s largest producers of premium coffee, managing roughly 5,000 acres of Jamaica Blue Mountain® and High Mountain coffee across five parishes, including St. Andrew, Portland, Clarendon, St. Catherine, and St. James. With operations that span both cultivation and processing, the company runs its own pulping facilities—where coffee beans are washed and prepared—before transporting them to its Tarentum plant in Clarendon for drying, grading, and packaging. Beyond production, Wallenford plays a major role in supporting local communities. The company works directly with farmers by providing infrastructure, resources, and agricultural inputs that help improve crop quality and ensure sustainable incomes. This support enables farming families to maintain stable livelihoods. Wallenford also invests in education within coffee-growing regions by adopting schools and upgrading facilities with kitchens, internet access, computers, and tablets. These efforts strengthen community development while fostering long-term relationships with farmers. By combining high-quality production with meaningful social investment, Wallenford continues to enhance both the standard of its coffee and the well-being of the communities behind it.
