Guji GR2 coffee comes from the highlands of Ethiopia’s Guji zone, located in the Oromia Regional State. With elevations between 1,700 and 2,200 meters and fertile volcanic soils, the area provides ideal conditions for growing heirloom Arabica varieties. Coffee farming here is mostly in the hands of smallholder producers who rely on traditional methods, including careful hand-picking and selective harvesting. After harvest, the beans are typically processed using the washed method and dried on raised beds. Guji is known for its diverse landscapes and strong coffee-growing traditions that have been passed down through generations. As a Grade 2 lot, this coffee is well prepared, with low defect levels and consistent quality, reflecting both the natural environment and the care of the farming communities involved.
