Ethiopia Harar Grade 4 is supported by the work of the Oromia Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Union (OCFCU), a second-tier cooperative union based in Oromia that brings together member cooperatives and provides key services such as training, farm support, warehouse capacity, and structures for grading, preparation, and export. Through this model, smallholder producers benefit from stronger organization and more consistent lot preparation for international markets. Sourced from Ethiopia’s eastern highlands, Harar Grade 4 is a natural-process Arabica primarily comprised of traditional Ethiopian heirloom material. The coffee is produced by smallholders under a classic regional system of careful hand-harvesting and sun-drying, reflecting Harar’s long-standing coffee heritage.
