Coffee Growers’ Cooperative of Antioquia With over 11,000 associated coffee producers, the Coffee Growers’ Cooperative of Antioquia is a solidarity-based organization leading the marketing of coffee and agricultural inputs across 54 municipalities in the Eastern, Near Southwestern, Northern, and Northeastern regions of Antioquia. Its primary goal is to ensure that growers receive the best possible market price for their beans, fostering a fair and sustainable value chain. The cooperative was established on July 31, 2000, through the merger of the Fredonia and Oriente cooperatives. Later, the Jericó Cooperative joined in 2001, followed by the Northern and Northeastern Antioquia Cooperative in 2003. Since then, quality has become the hallmark of this institution, which not only drives economic development but also promotes the well-being of coffee-growing families and environmental stewardship. True to its mission, the organization encourages a culture of continuous improvement, occupational health, safety, and environmental responsibility. Its leadership and team are deeply committed to allocating the necessary human, physical, and financial resources to provide safe and reliable working conditions, support quality management, and comply with applicable regulations—all with one clear purpose: to keep coffee as a symbol of life, culture, and progress in Antioquia.
