Grown between 1,400 and 1,700 meters in the southern department of Huila, this coffee thrives in fertile volcanic soils that promote slow cherry maturation and complex flavor development. Huila is one of Colombia’s most distinguished coffee regions, covering over 154,000 hectares of coffee across 35 municipalities, including Pitalito, Garzón, La Plata and Neiva. Farmers cultivate a broad range of varieties—Caturra, Typica, Castillo, Bourbon, Colombia, Maragogype, Tabi and even Geisha—ensuring both genetic richness and cup diversity. The Supremo SC17/18 grade designates large, uniform beans with superior processing and minimal defects, guaranteeing visual and sensory quality. This coffee is carefully sourced and milled by A. Laumayer y Compañía from several smallholder farms (fincas) that place quality and sustainability at the heart of their work. Producers hand-pick ripe cherries and process them using the fully washed method, resulting in a clean, bright cup with notes of citrus, red fruit and a smooth chocolaty finish.
